How Digital Twins Are Becoming Medicine’s Mission Control

We dose medications based on body surface area and organ function. We enroll patients in clinical trials that might take years to show benefit—or harm—without the ability to preview what’s likely to happen to the individual sitting in front of us. We make irreversible treatment decisions, then wait to see if we made the right choice.
